Video Your Physical Activity to Win Fantastic Prizes

Those older than 12 can enter the CANSA and Green Outdoor Gyms SA’s competition, where the challenge is to make a video showing at least 5 minutes of exercise each day, and submitting it to enter the competition. Participants stand the chance to win cash prizes to the value of R10 000 each month and get entered into a draw to win their own Green Outdoor Gym to the value of R300 000. Entry fees are only R15 with R5 donated to CANSA towards its education and health awareness campaigns.

Tim Hogins, CEO of Green Outdoor Gym SA says, “We’re excited to partner with CANSA for this competition, as we believe that incorporating physical movement which can be any sport-related or wellness activities into daily routines can have a positive effect, not only on personal well-being, but also reducing individual cancer risk. So young, old, families, schools, gym members and business executives are invited to enter the competition, get active and have #FeelGoodFun. Videos can include one individual or many as long as some sort of physical activity is being shown.”

“The competition requires entrants to create a video of maximum 60 seconds long or less doing some form of exercise or moving activity. It includes any form of movement and get all body parts moving such as dancing, yoga, pilates, rowing, running, cycling, swimming, boxing, Zumba or even a weight workout session. More than one video or the same video can be submitted on the 1st of every month. Each entrant that submits a video for a three-month consecutive period is entered into a draw to win a Green Outdoor Gym SA gym for themselves or to donate to the community or their non-profit of choice,” Hogins continues.

Entrants pay R15.00 (South African) entrance fee to submit their video to: https://gog.co.za/cansa5active/ for moderation. Once approved and proof of payment has been verified, the video is uploaded on www.greenoutdoorgyms.co.za for viewing by its followers for a period of 25 days starting September 2019 to end September 2020. The video with the most likes on the website page wins R10 000 at the end of the 25-day period. View terms and conditions of the competition.
