CANSA Active at 46th Cape Town Cycle Tour (10 March 2024)
The 46th Cape Town Cycle Tour (CTCT) takes place on Sunday, 10 March 2024. CANSA is one of the Cycle Tour’s regular Charity Groups, who raise awareness regarding services offered and how to reduce personal cancer risk at the event.
We are thankful to have sold out all our charity entries this year and thank our Grey College Old Boys’ 1987 for their continuous commitment to CANSA.
Trevor Naidoo one of our CANSA Active charity riders says, “I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be participating in the 109km Cape Town Cycle Tour in honor of my courageous sister, Venessa Naidoo, who is gracefully fighting this dreaded illness. I am partnering with CANSA, an organization that does remarkable work in supporting individuals affected by cancer. I’m reaching out to request your support. By contributing to my fundraising campaign on GivenGain, you’ll be directly aiding CANSA’s vital efforts in raising awareness and providing support to cancer patients and their families. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a significant impact. Together, let’s make a difference and bring hope to those facing this challenge.”
Prizes
CANSA invites the public to support the work it does by creating an online fundraising campaign, while participating in the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Download this handy guide to creating your fundraising project.
Participants who raise R5 000+ will receive a CANSA goodie bag and a CANSA Active cycling jersey by CIOVITA.
Participants in the tour are asked to call on their cycling buddies, family and friends to support their online fundraising efforts or to create their own fundraising page.
CTCT Expo
CANSA Active will have a stand at the Expo which runs from Thursday, 7 March – Saturday, 9 March 2024. Visit the CANSA Active Team at stand 38.

These limited edition cycling jerseys are available on pre-order and can be ordered via CIOVITA website, You can add a vinyl with your cancer hero’s name when you place your order on https://ciovita.co.za/pages/ciovita-x-cansa .
CIOVITA will donate R1 000 to CANSA for each jersey sold.
