James Townsend-Rose Tackles the Two Oceans Ultra for CANSA

We’re proud to share that James Townsend-Rose is taking on the Totalsports Two Oceans Ultra Marathon in support of CANSA Active – a movement that promotes an active, balanced lifestyle while raising awareness and funds for CANSA’s care and support programmes for those affected by cancer.

Here’s James’ story in his own words:

“I’m excited to be raising money for CANSA Active, a fantastic initiative focused on promoting an active lifestyle and raising awareness for cancer.

I’ll be running the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon – 56KM of beautiful vistas and bloody great hill climbs. I did it in 2017 in 6hrs 51mins. My goal for 2025 is to beat 6hrs 30.

At 43 years old, these marathons aren’t getting any easier – so all the encouragement you can muster (in the form of cold hard donated cash) is gratefully received!
