Bestmed Cycle4CANSA – Special Sun City Accomodation Packages

Sun International have released their special accommodation packages for the 21st anniversary edition of the Bestmed Cycle4Cansa Championship, hosted by Sun City on 25 and 26 August 2018.

The Bestmed Cycle4Cansa Championship, hosted by Sun City, presents a whole weekend of cycling activities.

The Road Classic offers distances of 103km and 70km and takes place on Sunday, 26 August. The MTB Classic, which presents 25km and 50km route options, fills the Saturday slot (25 August) over the weekend cycling festival.

The road race route is fast and flat and received very favourable feedback following the change to the traditional route in 2016. Because it takes place on a Sunday traffic volumes are low and the absence of mine trucks in the 2016 edition was evident.

The Bestmed Cycle4Cansa Road Classic is a premier seeding event for the Cape Town Cycle Tour and the event has to date raised in excess of R3.6 Million for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).
