One – choose your cycling event that you wish to participate in and get your entry in, or arrange a fun ride with friends, family or colleagues
Two – create an online fundraising project on GivenGain, for CANSA Active – click on the link below, and follow the prompts to set up your fundraiser:

Three – tell all your contacts about your participation, sharing the url or link to your online fundraiser, and about your wish to raise funds to enable CANSA’s care and support services to cancer patients and loved ones – keep them up to date on your training regularly, as you prepare for the event and encourage them to make a donation towards your online fundraiser
Four – participate in the event – take lots of photos and share it on your social media platforms using the #CANSAactive #FeelGoodFun – make sure your contacts are cheering you on and invite them to make another donation towards your online fundraising project

CANSA Active is so thankful to our online fundraisers – Elize Scheepers is riding the Cape Town Cycle Tour on the 13 March 2022 for a purpose – to raise funds for CANSA in the fight against cancer and to promote cancer awareness.

The HALO Team Rides from Gqeberha to Cape Town for CANSA TLC
It’s important for us to be the voice for children living with cancer as they need to be heard. They need our help to get through the cancer journey and treatment. Too many never even get the treatment and support they need. And we can help in our small way by raising awareness and funds towards CANSA’s TLC programme

Capital to Capital Cycle Challenge 2021
A total of 26 cyclists took part in the Capital to Capital Cycle Challenge 2021, a distance of 490km between the Union Buildings in Pretoria and the Maseru Border post in March 2021.
The team would like to thank all the sponsors and the support staff, who arranged three vehicles with six support staff to assist the riders.

The Garden Route Adventure Tour
Infraplex Director, Duncan Gilliland and team will be cycling the Garden Route Adventure Tour from 23-27 April 2021.
Infraplex is excited to announce as part of their social responsibility for 2021 and they will be riding for the Port Elizabeth CANSA Care Centre, to generate funding for the centre and advocate for the importance of men’s health and the impact of male breast cancer.
The team will be cycling from Port Elizabeth and end in Mossel Bay in 4 days. The tour is a total of 578 kms in total and the tour will include a team of 9 riders. “We are fundraising for the Port Elizabeth CANSA Care Centre with a goal of R90 000. Our goal was created to also bring awareness and celebrate that CANSA will be turning 90 years old in 2021.”

HALO – ‘Helping A Little One’: Port Elizabeth to Cape Town Cycle Tour
The group of cyclists will be cycling over seven days and plan to leave Port Elizabeth on 6 March and arrive in Cape Town on 12 March 2021. The cyclists will be cycling an average of 123km per day, totalling 785km over the seven days. This group of friends want to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer and cycle for a cause.

Support Charl De Klerk’s ABSA Cape Epic for CANSA Active
From 15-22 March 2020, I will be participating in the ABSA Cape Epic mountain bike race to raise funds for CANSA Active, who do great work for a cause that’s very close to my heart, trying to support people and their families affected by Cancer.
