One – choose your cycling event that you wish to participate in and get your entry in, or arrange a fun ride with friends, family or colleagues
Two – create an online fundraising project on GivenGain, for CANSA Active – click on the link below, and follow the prompts to set up your fundraiser:
Three – tell all your contacts about your participation, sharing the url or link to your online fundraiser, and about your wish to raise funds to enable CANSA’s care and support services to cancer patients and loved ones – keep them up to date on your training regularly, as you prepare for the event and encourage them to make a donation towards your online fundraiser
Four – participate in the event – take lots of photos and share it on your social media platforms using the #CANSAactive #FeelGoodFun – make sure your contacts are cheering you on and invite them to make another donation towards your online fundraising project

The group of cyclists will be cycling over seven days and plan to leave Port Elizabeth on 6 March and arrive in Cape Town on 12 March 2021. The cyclists will be cycling an average of 123km per day, totalling 785km over the seven days. This group of friends want to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer and cycle for a cause.

From 15-22 March 2020, I will be participating in the ABSA Cape Epic mountain bike race to raise funds for CANSA Active, who do great work for a cause that’s very close to my heart, trying to support people and their families affected by Cancer. I am sure you all know someone who is battling cancer, battled cancer for some time or most devastatingly, lost that battle.
