One – choose your cycling event that you wish to participate in and get your entry in, or arrange a fun ride with friends, family or colleagues
Two – create an online fundraising project on GivenGain, for CANSA Active – click on the link below, and follow the prompts to set up your fundraiser:
Three – tell all your contacts about your participation, sharing the url or link to your online fundraiser, and about your wish to raise funds to enable CANSA’s care and support services to cancer patients and loved ones – keep them up to date on your training regularly, as you prepare for the event and encourage them to make a donation towards your online fundraiser
Four – participate in the event – take lots of photos and share it on your social media platforms using the #CANSAactive #FeelGoodFun – make sure your contacts are cheering you on and invite them to make another donation towards your online fundraising project

Joburg Classic is different because of the balance and the tempered challenge it provides cyclists. There aren’t any senseless silly climbs. For lack of a better analogy; it’s like comparing Sani2C to the Cape Epic. It’s a delightfully forgiving route, but still poses a strong autumn challenge for cyclists.

Gauteng cyclists love riding their bikes over this time and with the decline in the Cape Town traveling contingent we feel the time is right to introduce a new big Joburg race in the first half of the season.

More than twenty ambassadors have confirmed their participation in the Bestmed Tshwane Classic following an event presentation earlier this week at Tshwane House in Pretoria.
“This is a wonderful initiative and we feel privileged that the organisation has engaged with us,” said Rehfeld. “We are really looking forward to the race. Denmark has a proud cycling heritage and we have a reputation to uphold following our victory in the men’s World Championship road race at the weekend!”
