Cycle4CANSA Entry Deadline!
Entries for next weekend’s Bestmed Cycle4CANSA Championship, presented by Optimum Financial Services at Sun City, will close at midnight on Wednesday evening (Wednesday 15 August at 11h59).
The 21st edition of the Cycle4CANSA will see the largest field for the past 15 years line up for the annual weekend cycling festival at Sun City.
Riders who would still like to get on the start line for one of the races over the weekend need to get clicking to www.cansalostcity.co.za before tomorrow.
The Road Classic offers distances of 103km and 70km and takes place on Sunday, 26 August. The MTB Classic, which presents 25km and 50km route options, fills the Saturday slot (25 August) over the weekend cycling festival.
The road race route is fast and flat and has become very popular since the return to the traditional route in 2016 while the MTB leg features a delightful new 8km single track section in the Letsatsing Game Reserve this year.
The Bestmed Cycle4Cansa Road Championship is a premier seeding event for the Cape Town Cycle Tour and proceeds from the event go to the Cancer Association of South Africa.
The casino resort offers convenient and safe parking as well as a variety of family entertainment options once the racing is done, including free entry into the Valley of Waves.
